It has been such a long time since I have written stock up. I know I promised some of you a while back, but you know how the holiday gets. I hope everybody had a Merry Christmas and look forward to what the new year is going to bring us. This will be the last stock in 09..so enjoy!

One Year anniversary

November 29th was Heather and I's ONE YEAR anniversary! For all you married people I will say this...man that year went by quick. It seems just like yesterday we were saving up for the wedding of our dreams and honeymoon to Jamaica and then coming back and being broke. Well it is a year later..we are sitting here in cold Ohio and guess what...we are still broke! LOL. I wouldn't trade this past year for anything because I got to be with my best friend and we are starting our lives together. Now if we can just get Obama to send us our check!!

Surprise bday party!

I would love to thank my wife for making my 31st birthday the best. All week she was talking about her "work" party and how we have to go out for that. So my mind was thinking a few beers, mingle with some co-workers and call it a night. Instead some of my friends surprised me at Brothers to come out and celebrate. I am not sure my reaction was huge but more of shock. I had no clue she had planned this event. Thanks for all of those who came out and celebrated such a fun night. I know one thing..I am DEFINITELY 31 because the next day at work..I was HURTING. I think too many shots of crown will do that to you. Thanks once again for everything and it made my birthday great!


Thanksgiving food

How come whenever Thanksgiving comes and goes you hear the same people talking about how this coming year is going to be different. They always talk about how much food they ate Thanksgiving and how much they are going to pig out for the holidays. Then what happens "I'm going to get to the gym and get in shape"! Yeah you know those people..I know one VERY well...ME! Yeah I said it..most of you people know I say it but you got to get motivated somehow lol.

USC Football

There is something about this program that really does not care. Even when they are having a bad year there is always a reason to hate this team. This might have been one of the funniest things I have ever seen at the end of the game. To set this scene up UCLA calls a timeout for no reason just to make USC mad. What follows is something we all know Tressel would never do..but my man Pete Carroll doesn't care.




I love it...this is why this team is ALWAYS thinking title! Why was the coach so fired up too! LOL If you watch the whole thing you will see a fight coming..classic rival game!

Holiday Season

How can you NOT like the holiday season and all the madness that happens. It is always a good time to see your family and friends and just have time off. I know that this season like everyone else has gone by quickly, but I am thankful for being able to enjoy it. I am sure everybody was spoiled in their own way with the many things they received. One thing you have to always keep in perspective is that there are people out there less fortunate. So be grateful and happy for what you have, because it could all be gone in a blink of an eye.

Black Friday Shopping

Once again I told myself that this year I would not need to be out there shopping. However, after getting back from Thanksgiving dinner, we decided that we would in fact get up at 5am to go shopping. One thing I have continually forgot to realize is unless you really need something, is it even worth it? I should have knew it would be that kind of shopping when I see a guy sitting outside Best Buy at 11am on THANKSGIVING DAY! Wow I hope that tv or laptop was worth not spending time with your family for dinner. So I get out there and spend about 3 hours in a store it seems looking for a jacket. After we get the jacket

Tiger Tiger Tiger Woods y'all...wow can you believe this news. Where do I start and I mean where do I start. Is it just me or does this sound like some kind of movie I have seen in the theater? I mean...DAMN Tiger. Tiger Woods what the hell are you doing? I mean we all know that things happen and famous people don't always stay faithful but this is Tiger. I mean he seemed happy with his model girlfriend and his two kids but this has gotten out of hand. I love how this story keeps getting weird by the minute. First you hear reports that Tiger Woods is in serious condition because he crashed his car. For a minute I was thinking to myself man what is going on can he ever play golf again. Then I see this picture...

I come to find out this happened at his own house at 2:30am. Now I do know that there is two things that married men do at this time..either taking their kids to the hospital or they are running from the wife. Good lord Tiger you got caught with your hand in the cookie jar. I also heard that he was talking to his friend about how is has to pull a "Kobe" and buy her a ring. That is a damn shame that when people get caught cheating the call it a Kobe LOL. I first had my doubts because there were girls coming out of left field talking about how they have been Tiger and blah blah blah. I mean this seemed a bit too odd so I thought maybe they are setting Tiger up. I thought that until I heard this...

I guess what I am confused about is how many women. I mean I am trying to figure out when he had all this time to meet with them. Now ladies chill out that might sound horrible but I am just stating the obvious. Between his golf tournaments, appearances for his sponsors, going home to his family, when did he have time to meet up with a porno star in Vegas? Well the latest reports is Tiger is taking a "break" from golf also known as getting his divorce papers ready and is trying to save his marriage. I just know that golf just became real interesting.

Gabe Spiegel

I have been wondering for the longest time where my favorite news anchor has been hiding. All these years sitting next to Yolanda Harris who used to hold it down with the Fox kids club. I was sick of hearing this new stiff they got replacing him. I come to find out that Gabe was in a car in which a guy hit a bicyclist and killed him. GABE IS A KILLER? Man this happened about 7 months ago and Gabe was on tv for a while. It sounds to me that he was forced out! Gabe claims he was bored with news and it was taking too much of his time so he started his own company. I am heated because he always delivered the news on point and even looked like a bootleg version of Steven Colbert LOL.

Movie Police

Ok so it's the day after Christmas and I had just got done with shopping, so we all decided to catch a movie..Alvin in the chipmunks. So we get to AMC Dublin, which after all these years is still top notch, to catch the movie. We walk in and grab our seats and of course are surrounded by about 80 kids and their parents. I was not sure exactly how I felt about this movie so I was checking on my cell phone the other movie times. All of the sudden I get this tap on my shoulder from this guy, who I think might have been a junior at Thomas Worthington, tell me to pull my cell phone away. Now mind you the movie had not started and people were still coming in. I looked up to the left and said "what did you say?" and he said "put your phone away" this time in a much more stern voice. Now two things crossed in my head...I could get up and cuss this high school kid who swag must have been on HIGH, or I could just deal with it. You guessed it folks..I dealt with it...only for the kids sake in the theater. I do know this...he better NEVER tell me to put my phone away. I paid about 30 bucks for two tickets, two drinks and popcorn so if I want to make phone calls I will do it. Just goes to show you that when you have a name tag and a flashlight, you must feel like the king of the world.

Cavs vs Lakers

Terrible game if you are a Lakers fan. I have not seen that many bad calls since Tim Donaughy was out of jail still reffing the NBA. However the best part of the game might have been this commercial..




Work

Nothing like having all these days off and now you have to head back to work. Some people I know have been working thru the holidays. People like me can not stand today after such a long break. The good thing is that Weds at 12 I will be off so I will once again be smiling and dancing LOL.

Vikings coach

There has been all these issues going on with Bret Favre and the coach Brad Childress. I am not sure the coach got the memo...he is really not the coach. He needs to just sit there like a fool that he is and let Favre do what he does. Everybody knows that Favre is going to do whatever he wants so you have to deal with it. Last nights loss to the bears is the whole story. This fool holds brett down but in the 2nd half he lets him play and you see the points. Losing these games does not look well for the playoff run. I tell you what..if we don't win our first game of the playoffs I might drive to Minneapolis myself and pack his bags!

Can you believe this wonderful weather we are having here! I just love how this weather keeps staying warm. I am never in a hurry to get to the cold! NBA is back!

Ahh its about time! Nothing and I do mean NOTHING beats watching the NBA. I just love watching 2-4 do work in the purple in gold. This is going to be an exciting year with Shaq in Cleveland, Rasheed in Boston and my Lakers trying to defend their title! Please do not tell me the NBA is rigged...well there was this one ref...but that is besides the point. If you enjoy watching basketball this is the best time to do it. Nobody wants to watch those boring college games on ESPN with Hubert Davis and doug gotlieb calling the games. Trying to tell me that St. Joes is a dark horse and looking out for Texas A&M. Terrible...I need to see Kobe guarding LBJ, shaq vs odom....all the stars! It is going to be a great, great year!

Bottom line is the Vikings should have won but we do not have those in the standings. However the best play of the game was when Adrian Peterson I think destroyed somebodys pride and will always been on a highlight reel. If you didn't see it...here you go...

Sesame Street

This was the 40th anniversary of the show that I am sure most of us grow up on. I remember Mr. Roper when he passed away, cookie monster eating up everything and the list goes on and on. Now all you know what I have said for years that the movie Follow that Bird is one of the top movies ever. It deals with every emotion you need and all that life brings to you. I also loved Oscar the Grouch. I mean he kept it real...he never stepped out, never bothered anybody. You realize it was the kids and everybody else banging on his can. I know a few times he had parties and all sorts of fun in that can. I think that can was deep so there was no need to leave his house LOL. Now this is the part in the show that I ALWAYS looked forward to seeing...

I mean when you got the #12 it was just too much...you got that extended version. And for those music fans...the girls singing the song were the Pointer Sisters...hey everybody needs a paycheck! LOL

Are they really thinking National Title? Who would have thought that the "nasty" natti would have a team that is thinking BCS. I am proud to see them in the hunt for it all. I do however see them playing the loser of the Florida vs Alabama game and that might friends might be a little interesting. However, until the last regular season game is over, lets root for an Ohio team to shock the world!

Great win in State College during their "white" out game. Not sure if T Pain played well but he did enough to make the offense run well. Big props to Heyward because that guy is an animal. I do know one thing...he will be playing on Sundays...Browns coach...taking notes?

Health care

It is nice to see there are steps that are being done to get some sort of universal health care plan for this country. Whether you are a republican or democrat, something needs to be done and I hope it is. I know there is still a long way to go, but that was a great first step. My concern is that this has become too political because there are many people out there who pay too much for health care. I know people who I work with that pay about $140 a paycheck..not a month..a paycheck for coverage. I know my jobs health care plan is terrible so that is a lot of money for nothing. Lets all make sure that we are on the same page...lower costs!

Very excited to see Columbus trying to do big things with this city. Downtown might be even more explosive then before!

Pilots on their laptop while flying

People should not be surprised that pilots are not entirely focused while you are flying. Usually they are sleeping with the auto pilot on. Now comes work that these pilots were on their laptop while they missed their destination by 150 miles. Now whether they were working on a work program or not this is serious. This is the reason why it is serious...we play tons of money for these flights and the least you can do is be on time. No wonder I have to sit at Port Columbus so long and wait because the flight comes in late. Quit googling and yahooing all day on the laptop and get my flight going. Now if you are on your laptop, why am I not allowed on mine. What kind of WIFI you have that I have no access too. This makes me wonder why my ticket cost so much and where are these "extra" costs are coming from. All I ask is one of the pilots keeps their eyes on the radar and get me to my place ASAP.

I think they need to make some sort of rule that if you do not want to be in the military, then you need to get out. Also I think you might want to check into a persons background a bit more. I am not saying that if you are Muslim you can't be in the military. I think that if you are found to be practicing at the mosques that the 911 terrorists were preaching at, it could be an issue. My hearts go out to the fallen soldiers and their families on this terrible tragedy. I do hope they get to the bottom of this and figure this out so it will never happen again.

Nationwide Arena

Trust me people here in Columbus are not going to pay extra money to watch hockey. Now saying that I do not mind it here and in fact I will be going to a game in January. However, I am not using my tax money to help fund the building which they are proposing. Now what I will put my money towards is a NBA team. That's right folks...Columbus needs that NBA team to bring in the money. Just think..Kobe, LBJ, Carmelo, Dwight Howard coming all the time. Man look I guarantee I would have season tickets..try to get that front row like Jack and enjoy life! That is what they need to do if they want to keep the arena up and running!

Now I know I am going to get some crap for putting this in stock down but there is a reason for this. Why are you telling your story to 20/20 right now? This happened months ago and I wanted you to make a stand then too. After seeing that picture of you and what Chris Breezy did to you, you needed to interview and tell how bad it was. Instead you were down in MIA with him and Diddy rolling around in Jet Skis. Then I see you at basketball games relaxing while Jay Z and Kanye are looking around to whoop Chris Brown's butt. Then all the sudden you want to get interviewed and tell the details. I thought maybe it was because you finally got it, or maybe you want to show you fans that after going back to him 8 or 9 times that you are finally over him. Braylon Edwards after another loss by the Browns decided to go out to the club and kick it. Well he thought that he was big in the city and did not have to pay. However, one of the King's jesters was working the club door and wouldn't let him in for free. The guy is the one in this commercial who was rockin the kid n play cd...





So Braylon and him get into a fight on Sunday and next thing I know on TUESDAY he is on the Jets. They have been trying to trade this guy all year and all it takes is a call from Lebron james and he is gone? Like I said earlier...apparently Lebron has the juice!

Minnesota Vikings

Just like I told ALL you this year...this team is thinking BOWL. Yeah I have said it every year and I will continue to say it until they get there. 6-0 and now we got the Steelers in Pittsburgh. I am not really worried about the team, but about the refs being scared of Mike Tomlin. I am still trying to figure out when it is 4th and 1 and the Browns stopped them, they still gave it to them. Hmmm...going to be a VERY interesting game this Sunday!

I wanted to say great job to those who ran in the marathon this past weekend. I would have been out there with you but my hamstring has not recovered since I went skiing with my brother. Now I love my president....I really do but I did think they jumped the gun with this prize. Now this was a firestorm based on the fact that people say you shouldn't give prizes to "dreams". Now I agree but my next question is this....who cares? I really don't see the big deal because lately the award is a gimic. Back in the day when Nelson Mandela, Dalai Lama and Mother Teresa it was a hot award. However, when you let Yasser Arafat win one...do we really think it is that relevant?

Blowing up Moon for water

I don't understand why we are blowing up the moon to find some water. Also why does it cost like 75 billion dollars? I know they are trying find life on other planets but this is becoming less and less likely. Plus I like Earth..has everything I need and I do not want people living on the moon. Did they not learn about what happened the last time we have people living on other planets? You remember what happened to Quaid when he was out of the protection bubble on Total Recall....

Air costs money?

If your tire is running low on air you would think you could roll into a BP gas station and just fill it up real quick. However, times are so tough they are charging for AIR! Now maybe I wouldn't be so mad about it, but they charged 75 cents. See I hate that because I then had to go break a dollar and then on top of it...25 cents won't buy you any candy. I would think it would buy you lemon heads but even those are more now. Like I said..charging for air....what a joke!

Ohio State Football

I was sitting on this and thinking about what to write for a while. Really I just had to take a step back and say this...we are not that good. Now I am still a fan but I am a realistic fan and I see lots of holes in this team. First thing is I am tired of everybody on Tressels case. Sure he calls a terrible game and doesn't want to bench players but last time I checked he has won about 10 games a year. If you want a change then you are a fool. Also please do not compare Terrelle Pryor to Troy Smith. I assume the comparison is based on their skin color and not their skill set. Troy Smith was and is a better passer then Pryor. Pryor is a better play maker and I sure some of you will debate that. The difference with this team and Troys team was...I don't know...2 first round WRS, a top 5 defense and a better overall team. As long as we have boom boom herron at RB and that African cornerback who gets beat deep..we won't be that good. Now I still think we have a chance to win out, but it is going to take a huge effort from the team. So to those who are drinkers..enjoy this season. Just get drunk and laugh and yell and enjoy the season for what it is worth. If you do not drink and you watch and get mad, I suggest you find a hobby because this team will give you a heart attack! Go bucks and bring on the Gophers!

I know by now that most have heard the story about the interracial couple that were denied the rights to get married by Keith Bardwell. I guess you think some things have changed, but you always know there are some of these people out there. Now I guess I am quick to call him a racist but here is his quote regarding this...

Greetings from Columbus, OH on this very windy day! I wake up and I thought that our place was getting swept up by a tornado. It was absolutely crazy with the dogs going nuts but things finally settled down. It is a Monday and for some reason I am awake and lively..but lets see how long that lasts because I have to go to work at 1pm! LOL

We are now homeowners and are very excited and blessed to be so. It was a long, hard, tiresome and amazing journey. We moved into our house at the end of last month and now we are getting things organized and situated. I want to let anybody out there know if you are looking for a house, you just have to be patient because you will be stressed to no end! LOL. We would like to thank all of those who helped out with moving things, bringing things over, fix and put things up or anything that helped make this possible. Five Guys and Fries



I mean this is a real, real solid place to eat at. I mean the burgers are so fresh and you get those GOOD fries. Not those cheap fries that taste bland but those good cut fries you get at the fair. This is a place in which you have to make sure you got a few extra bucks in your pocket. You can't go there with 5 bucks and think you will be ok, you need about 20! LOL. And on a side note I can't stand going to places and one of the fountain drink choice is Powerade. I mean who drinks that garbage? i had to drink it once when I got a free one and it made me sick. If you drink that I apologize but you need to switch it up and drink some G2.

My John Madden Skills

All I know it has been about 10 years since I played madden and now that i got it I am a beast. Names of my many victims to date...Nate, Delon and Cali. The only person I didn't get a chance to beat was Kirk because he was one and done against me. Who wants some?

Calling President Obama a liar when he is talking about finding ways to fix health care...really? I do not think I have ever seen a member of congress yell out during an address to both the house and the senate. I understand that you are going to have differences, but is that how you act? This is not going to be helping the repeat chances of the Lakers. We do not have time for you to be on Khloe after talk dealing with this during the season. You only knew her for a month..a MONTH! This is the year where we get that repeat and start our dynasty talk and you want to be doing this. The only plus is the fact that Kim will be at more of the games so at least the Lakers got that going for them. However, somebody needs to tell Kobe to stay away from her! LOL

Parks and recreation

Ok this is more of a plea from me to you...save this show. Now I know it isn't the funniest out there and my not be your cup of tea but I love it. I am not sure why because there really isn't a point to it, but lets keep it going. It is on the chopping block to be replaced and I think it is a good show before watching the office. So remember to tune in at 8:30pm Thursday!!

USC football player got hurt lifting

That is why I do not need to be benching like I'm trying out for Predator 3. The running back for USC got hurt when he was trying to bench 275 and the bar fell on this throat. He had to get emergency surgery on his larynx. This is why gafford at Kilbourne was ALWAYS promoting the towel bench because it is safer!

Nothing bothers me more then people I haven't heard of in years write tell all books dishing dirt. Now we have Chynna Phillips talking about how her and her dad had consensual sex for over 10 years. Hey everybody it has been a long time since I have been able to share some thoughts about the many different things I see and hear. I know I know Mr. McQuone, this is not a quarterly. However, in this down time of the year there hasn't been much to write about. However, I thought it was important that I say some stuff and get people aware of what is going on. Hope everybody is doing a great and here we go...

Issue 1


Congrats to Issue 1 being passed which helped pay for the firemen and policemen in Franklin county. One person I know who is definitely thankful is Jim Steinbeck. It is good to know that people still want protection on the streets and people to come get their cat out of the tree! LOL..but seriously that was a big passing and I am glad that we will move forward with the funding for those two important professions.





Technology





I just want to say big ups to Bill Beaston for joining the 21st century regarding text messages on the cell phone. This is something I have to say is a very important feature to use and to embrace. Do not be like my brother Cameron who can not stand the texting. He claims that this is a step backwards because we went from the mail to the phone and then now texting so we are going backwards. Technology is never a step backwards because texting allows you to do things you could not do if you had to only call. You can relay a message to a person without having to disturb them and they can still gather the information. I expect a comment back from this but that is why you need to you use it!

Open Gym

I just want to say it has been great these past couple weeks in playing some basketball again. Oh I definitely have been feeling it because after I am done I feel like I can't walk. This last week was some good classic ball with lots of the usual suspects. I mean we got Young City throwing up some junk and playing like Ludacris against me...throw dem bows! Then my man Gerald trying to take over instead of letting the game to him. Bottom line is this..I know I was out there out of shape hurting but this is what Young city saw a lot of when he was guarding me. I had to teach him what you do to people who try to body me up when I'm shooting. This is actual footage that Gerald's girl took of this classic battle

Anytime a 59 year old man can almost win the British Open you have to give the man respect. I am not sure how many of you follow golf, but that was an incredible story. Really he should have won because he needed to just par the 18 but things didn't work in his favor.

Glad to see his is out of jail after serving his time with the dog sentence. I think now he has a chance to go ahead and play football and get a second chance. I am still confused on how Donte Stallworth can KILL a guy and get less time but it is what it is. I think that we need to put our thoughts and feelings about what he did behind and allow him to try to rehabilitate his image. Trust me I am a dog lover and the thought of what he did is ridiculous, but I think he is remorseful and now needs to get back in the NFL..especially on those Vikings!



Entourage



Man once again this season of Entourage is very solid. I mean it is not as explosive that I think it can be, but it might be laying the foundation. I still always feel cheated that the show is only 30 mins long but I need to enjoy it while it last.



Hilton Head Vacation


Anytime you can take a week off and enjoy a vacation in the sun then life is not that bad. The Coseys/Steinbecks took a trip down to the dirty dirty and had a good time. Lots of beaches, laying by the pool and eating good seafood. I also enjoyed drinking all the redstripe I could manage while doing absolutely nothing! I officially need to let some people know that it is a myth that black people can not get a tan. Listen when I say this..I got that Wesley Snipes/Kunta Kinte going on that I can not stand. My scalp is peeling and itches. So yes I do put on my suntan lotion because I'm African American not AFRICAN American!

Southwest city schools

Are you serious? I mean are you serious? No more greyhounds football? No more Westland basketball? The people in Southwest rejected a proposed increase to help fund after school programs for their kids. So now there are no sports, after school meetings and on top of that no buses. Now what about lil malik who is trying to stay in school who lives 3 miles away and can't get that ride. He was looking forward to playing ball with his new j's and now he has nothing to do after school. What gets me is this..parents know kids just get into a whole bunch of trouble if they have nothing to do after work. This didn't pass because people did not want to pay an extra $15 on their property tax. Man please you spend $15 when you hit up Penn Station and go large with those nice greasy fries and tall Mr. Pibb. This is going to set that area back about 2-3 years because if I am student there I am going to Hilliard and staying there my whole time. Just sad days for the west side!

First of all how many of these movies are there and who watches them? I have met 1 person that has "claimed" to watch these movies. Look if you do watch them its ok I just don't not understand how you can get thru them. I tried to watch the very first one and I fell asleep at the EXACT same part 3 times in a row so I stopped trying. Got to give those kids credit though because I would have no problem being type casted by this franchise!

You know what...I get home from a LOOONNNG day of work and see some crazy nut job talking about she doesn't think President Obama is a US citizen. Are you kidding me....and I do mean are you kidding me! We have so much other stuff to deal with and some crazy woman is saying that she is unsure that PRESIDENT Obama is not a citizen. I mean is that because his last name is Obama and not Franklin? Is it because his first name is Barack and not Steven? I really have no clue but this stuff really ticks me off. And why is this always an issue in the south? I hear people all the time in the south saying all this nonsense. Heck most of the people in congress from Texas want to secede from the Union? What are we talking about 1850? I didn't know the civil war was still going on? If you have this many doubts about Obama then I suggest you read a book or hit up the Internet because i think this is actually pretty pathetic. Oh and if there are any issues...check this out..

Innocent until proven guilty but this is not looking good for Big Ben. I hope this isn't another "Kobe" situation but it is looking sticky for the QB of the Steelers. The claim is that she was called to his room to fix his tv. Now I don't know what a guest relations person is doing fixing tvs but that is the story. Then supposedly Big Ben got a little too physical. Either or this is not good news for the QB of the defending Superbowl champs. Not much to say right now till the facts come out...

Why in the world are you starting a fight like this against Eminem? In case you do not know the background Mariah Carey's single "Obsession" is supposed to be a diss on Eminem. Now you know Em is not going to take that lightly so he has released a single called "The Warning". Now after getting embarrassed my (former) man Nick Cannon tweeted to him saying he wants peace. C'mon Nick you need to respond back with some wack lyrics! LOL. Bottom line is this..if you can't stand the heat..get out the kitchen!

Man Obama you needed to wait a few months for this deal to come into affect. Cash for clunkers is great for people who need to get a new car. It was created to get the auto industry going and to help save some money by getting rid of gas hog cars and getting into a new car! And I can think of a great person who would have taken advantage of this if he wasn't looking to get a house....ME! Man I am sorry Goldie..but it is time for me to hang up your tires and pass you on. This is the greatest deal where basically you can trade your car in and get up to 5k towards the purchase of a new car. For those out there who are having car problems I would look into this because this deal isn't going to last forever. I just wish it was pushed back so I could take advantage!

Take a good look at this guy. Rodell Vereen...no relation to Ben Vereen who was a frequent lost father on the TV show Webster. No Rodell (figures it would be a brother) is accused of having sex with a HORSE! Now when I heard this I thought are you serious..but I found out that isn't the worst part. The worst part is that this is the SECOND time he was caught having sex with the same horse! How do they know this..they got him on camera. So now we have Rodell here, having sex with the horse on camera! You ask where this is at...it took place in South Carolina...(sorry Kendra! LOL). All I got say it this....why brah...why. If you have not seen this movie I definitely think it is something to see. I am interested to see what peoples thoughts are and if it was funnier then Superbad. Heather was laughing so hard in the theater I thought I might need to escort her out. There were some pretty funny scenes and even a bootleg cameo from Mike Epps. I think this was definitely one of the funniest movies this year and makes me want to see what Vegas is all about! This is Stu's song to Doug...

You know the best thing about being a Laker fan is hearing all the hate coming out. Man I have never heard or seen this much hate in a long time. I was going to sit here and call out every single haters but I am not going to do that...I am just going to give them awards. What in the world is the hype about this movie? I was watching the MTV movie awards and every actor in this movie won something. I didn't even know who they were but they must be hot. I do know this..it is still a movie about vampires and them fighting over a girl. If I want to see that I would pop in the lost boys with the Cory brothers...now that is something to get excited about!


Michael Vick getting played and where is PETA?

Now I am all about treating animals correctly and do not believe in abuse. I do not condone the act of dogfighting even though in the south it is an accepted sport. Saying that why is it so hard for him to get back in the NFL and do his job? He was the money man in a sport that he knew about but wasn't really involved in. However there are other football players who seem to be doing things a lot worse and having a far less punishment. Plaxico Buress shot himself in the leg in the club. Now you know good and well if he was shooting up at Polos....err bad example..that might happen LOL...at Onyx then he would be in jail and this discussion would be over. Instead he is trying to get on the field. Donte Stallworth just got 30 days in jail for KILLING A MAN. I repeat Donte Killed a man but yet he is only getting 30 days and house arrest. That just goes to show you that we value Scooby Doo more then we do a human life. I just think there needs to be equal laws on everybody. Do not make Michael Vick a scapegoat for a campaign for PETA. Time to let them boy play and join a franchise that will accept him with open arms....THE RAIDERS!

Thanks for those who were able to come to dinner and also meet up later and party it up. She especially loved her gift of the Golden Girls and Three's Company DVD. I think it took her back to her childhood because she was watching them all day Sunday. I had to put the DVD player upstairs so I could watch TV in piece. It was fun and I am glad that you had a good time.

Not that I have any experience with that I am just saying that is what I have heard. Well I hope that you guys had a good time and just think...about a month or so until the big day!


L.A Lakers

Whew...way to get out of that series. I know there was an earthquake last night in LA that was 4.7 but if the lakers had lost, the city would have collapsed. I have to give props to the rockets for pushing them to 7. The series went about 2 games too long but the beauty of it is watching more basketball. There is something about this Lakers team that just cracks me up. I don't know what it is because you either LOVE or HATE the lakers; however I know you are watching them. I do know this when they are on it brings a smile to my face LOL. Now all I am going to hear this week is how the nuggets are going to beat the Lakers and the Cavs are going to sweep the Magic. Let me say it here first..Denver is going to be easier to beat then the Rockets and...here is goes....you ready...the MAGIC are going to catch the Cavs in 6! Yeah I said it...any problems respond back but I am telling you..they gonna catch them. I will check back next week to see how my predictions are going! LOL

Race for the cure

I was glad to hear that there was a record turnout for this years race for the cure. It is such a great event to do especially when you know all the women who have survived from this terrible disease. Anybody that did the race I want to give you major props. It is something that I know is very personal to a lot of people and anytime you can do a great cause it makes it even better. Next year yours truly will be RUNNING the 5K race. Yeah it isn't that far but at my age and girth..it is something that I need a whole year to train for!

Ever since I got back from Jamaica I have been sipping on this beer. Let me tell you this...nothing beats walking around in the bar with that little brown bottle...Hurray beer! LOL. If you have never tried it, it is something that I would recommend. The next best thing would be drinking it in Jamaica! Erin and Todd you will find out first hand what I am talking about here shortly!

I don't know who still watches this show but let me tell you, that ending on the season finale was the TRUTH. I would have saw what happened to George and how they ended his character. Let me tell you this..for those who don't watch this show you need to pick it up next fall because it is too much. I know my man Jacob be on it now so quit frontin! lol

Young brother taking his girl out to prom

Man Heather and I headed up to get some Penn Station one sat night and I saw these two couples all dressed up going to House of Japan. It must have been some prom night because these guys were all tuxed out. I just made me sit there and daydream about those days. Fellas you know those days where you had to beg your mom and dad to use their car. Then you had to get some spending money to pay for your date because we all know that allowance that job at OCB wasn't paying it. Then when you picked up the girl and took her to the restaurant you were HOPING that she would eat that salad. Not because you didn't want her to eat anything, you wanted to save that money and pocket it! LOL. Now all I know is this..anybody reading this that is a guy didn't do that...was a FOOL. Trust me I still had a good time, still got my cuddle on and left out of there with about $40 bucks which was plenty of loot for me when I needed to hit up those AMC movie drive-bys with Kuo!

I don't know about you guys but I am tired of seeing this damn commercial coming on every 10 mins. It is the same ole telling me how PC's always crash and that the Mac is the computer to get. Well if that is the case can the Mac lower its prices. Nobody has enough money to drop for a computer that you want to charge. I mean I am already sketchy of getting any computer from a guy whose claim to fame is the movie Jeepers Creepers and some two bit role in Die Hard 4 or 5...I can't even remember. We get it...if we need a computer we will hit up best buy and get the best one that we can afford so please stop with those annoying commercials.

Home Depot conventions in the gym

Listen this goes for all those home depot members aka TOOLS that you see at the gym..deflate your chest and biceps. Nobody worries about how hard you look at me when you walk by after you just did a few dips. I can not stand going to the gym and seeing all these meatheads walk around in their dryfit shirt..usually extra medium and act like they are all swole. How are you going to get your own house and tell me we are too old to have "after hour" parties? Man all those years when I lived with Delon and Aaron you were always inviting people over all late. Some days I wanted to sleep and I get this knock on my door and it was some brother who I didn't even know asking me if there was a party. There isn't any party here..I don't know what didn't give that away. Me coming down the stairs in my lakers shorts and Perry middle school t shirt. Or the fact that brutus was lying on the futon with the lights off. Now you get your place and say we are too old. Shoot I was too old about 5 years ago so I know you can do it now.
