Oh this is the one holiday where you are able to dress up and act like a complete fool and have a good time. It is kind of funny how the costumes change as you get older. When you are a kid you wear a plastic mask or some transformer costume. Girls dress up as a princess or a witch. When you get older you just throw something together so that you can get free candy. As you get older and go out and party...well...you look like this...
NBA is back!
Ahh its about time! Nothing and I do mean NOTHING beats watching the NBA. I just love watching 2-4 do work in the purple in gold. This is going to be an exciting year with Shaq in Cleveland, Rasheed in Boston and my Lakers trying to defend their title! Please do not tell me the NBA is rigged...well there was this one ref...but that is besides the point. If you enjoy watching basketball this is the best time to do it. Nobody wants to watch those boring college games on ESPN with Hubert Davis and doug gotlieb calling the games. Trying to tell me that St. Joes is a dark horse and looking out for Texas A&M. Terrible...I need to see Kobe guarding LBJ, shaq vs odom....all the stars! It is going to be a great, great year!

This is all ARod needed to win his championship. Just a little love from Kate Hudson. He moved past his ex wife and the material girl known as Madonna, and got with her. My only question is I could have sworn she was married to Matthew Mcconaughey.

Bottom line is this..I know the Vikings lost Sunday and all these Steelers fans were chirping in my ear about it. You know what...congrats because it was a good game. Bottom line is the Vikings should have won but we do not have those in the standings. However the best play of the game was when Adrian Peterson I think destroyed somebodys pride and will always been on a highlight reel. If you didn't see it...here you go...
Just remember...that's how we do it in Minnesota! LOL
Sesame Street
This was the 40th anniversary of the show that I am sure most of us grow up on. I remember Mr. Roper when he passed away, cookie monster eating up everything and the list goes on and on. Now all you know what I have said for years that the movie Follow that Bird is one of the top movies ever. It deals with every emotion you need and all that life brings to you. I also loved Oscar the Grouch. I mean he kept it real...he never stepped out, never bothered anybody. You realize it was the kids and everybody else banging on his can. I know a few times he had parties and all sorts of fun in that can. I think that can was deep so there was no need to leave his house LOL. Now this is the part in the show that I ALWAYS looked forward to seeing...
I mean when you got the #12 it was just too much...you got that extended version. And for those music fans...the girls singing the song were the Pointer Sisters...hey everybody needs a paycheck! LOL

Are they really thinking National Title? Who would have thought that the "nasty" natti would have a team that is thinking BCS. I am proud to see them in the hunt for it all. I do however see them playing the loser of the Florida vs Alabama game and that might friends might be a little interesting. However, until the last regular season game is over, lets root for an Ohio team to shock the world!
Buckeyes
Great win in State College during their "white" out game. Not sure if T Pain played well but he did enough to make the offense run well. Big props to Heyward because that guy is an animal. I do know one thing...he will be playing on Sundays...Browns coach...taking notes?
Health care
It is nice to see there are steps that are being done to get some sort of universal health care plan for this country. Whether you are a republican or democrat, something needs to be done and I hope it is. I know there is still a long way to go, but that was a great first step. My concern is that this has become too political because there are many people out there who pay too much for health care. I know people who I work with that pay about $140 a paycheck..not a month..a paycheck for coverage. I know my jobs health care plan is terrible so that is a lot of money for nothing. Lets all make sure that we are on the same page...lower costs!
Columbus passing casinos
Coming soon to Nationwide blvd....shake em up, shake em up, shake em up, shake em! Trust me when those doors are open..Con C will be there and I do know one rule..I ALWAYS bet on black! Very excited to see Columbus trying to do big things with this city. Downtown might be even more explosive then before!
Stock Down
Pilots on their laptop while flying
People should not be surprised that pilots are not entirely focused while you are flying. Usually they are sleeping with the auto pilot on. Now comes work that these pilots were on their laptop while they missed their destination by 150 miles. Now whether they were working on a work program or not this is serious. This is the reason why it is serious...we play tons of money for these flights and the least you can do is be on time. No wonder I have to sit at Port Columbus so long and wait because the flight comes in late. Quit googling and yahooing all day on the laptop and get my flight going. Now if you are on your laptop, why am I not allowed on mine. What kind of WIFI you have that I have no access too. This makes me wonder why my ticket cost so much and where are these "extra" costs are coming from. All I ask is one of the pilots keeps their eyes on the radar and get me to my place ASAP.
Ft Hood shooter
I think they need to make some sort of rule that if you do not want to be in the military, then you need to get out. Also I think you might want to check into a persons background a bit more. I am not saying that if you are Muslim you can't be in the military. I think that if you are found to be practicing at the mosques that the 911 terrorists were preaching at, it could be an issue. My hearts go out to the fallen soldiers and their families on this terrible tragedy. I do hope they get to the bottom of this and figure this out so it will never happen again.
Nationwide Arena
Trust me people here in Columbus are not going to pay extra money to watch hockey. Now saying that I do not mind it here and in fact I will be going to a game in January. However, I am not using my tax money to help fund the building which they are proposing. Now what I will put my money towards is a NBA team. That's right folks...Columbus needs that NBA team to bring in the money. Just think..Kobe, LBJ, Carmelo, Dwight Howard coming all the time. Man look I guarantee I would have season tickets..try to get that front row like Jack and enjoy life! That is what they need to do if they want to keep the arena up and running!

Now I know I am going to get some crap for putting this in stock down but there is a reason for this. Why are you telling your story to 20/20 right now? This happened months ago and I wanted you to make a stand then too. After seeing that picture of you and what Chris Breezy did to you, you needed to interview and tell how bad it was. Instead you were down in MIA with him and Diddy rolling around in Jet Skis. Then I see you at basketball games relaxing while Jay Z and Kanye are looking around to whoop Chris Brown's butt. Then all the sudden you want to get interviewed and tell the details. I thought maybe it was because you finally got it, or maybe you want to show you fans that after going back to him 8 or 9 times that you are finally over him. That is great and I really hope that is the case..but then I forgot the obvious....
