Memorial Day!

Hey we need to first remember what this day is all about. It is to remember all the veterans who have served to make sure that our freedom is safe. We are all lucky to be living here and never take that for granted. I hope everybody has a good day eating some burgers and brats. You can count of me for sure to be doing that!

Heather's bday weekend - Birthday's are seem to bring out the happiest moments for people. It is "their day" so they want to make sure it goes perfect. Nothing could be more perfect then spending it with me so that was the best present one could have! LOL. I just hope and know that you had a good time and thanks to anybody who made her bday fun...we did it 80's style!





Roger Fish - Big ups to my man for graduating Quinnipac college. Now that you are done you will be staying up in the NW chillin in Beantown! Can't wait till you come back home so that I can celebrate with you grad!

Noodle Beaston - Another big ups to a college grad..this one at Bowling Green State University. If anybody has been to that school on a weekend knows that getting thru that school is a serious challenge. Best of luck to you in Cleveland!

Memorial Golf Tournament - This is one of the few times in Columbus when the city is electric. Everybody is trying to get tickets to see some of the best golfers. A lot of you are out there trying to fine tune your game. However, I have seen a lot of you play and Tiger himself couldn't help you. So just enjoy all the pros, drink that 6.50 miller lite and get your best pair of New Balances on so you can walk around and enjoy the action!

American Idol video game - Now I know I don't sing like Mariah Carey but c'mon now with this video game. I got this as a present for Heather and I can't stand the game now. I created my character to try to win the game. I made him diverse so that he would appeal to all the judges. He has a white t-shirt, cowboy hat and some jeans, so I am trying to get all the votes. Now how come I can't even get out of the audition room? I was trying to sing Copa Cabana and they cut me off before I was done. Randy laughs and keeps yo doggin me saying I need to quit. Paula doesn't even feel me at all. Simon at least gives me some props but I never get that yellow sign to go to Hollywood. I think it's because I don't know the songs so I can't give them my true feelings. I mean can I get some teddy pendagrass Close the door or even some Jon B...they don't know. There is no soul in the damn game! See they don't have those kind of songs so I can win. Shoot I wish they had a code where I can get Montell Jordan's this is how we do it. I would sing that all day EVERYDAY and win. I am about to write to the game to tell them don't be afraid to give me some more choices, but until then..I'll stick to guitar hero!

American Idol - Does anybody still watch that show? I think so guy named David won but here is who really should have won....

Nightlife - You know what I got a call from Fish who was telling me his thoughts on nightlife here in Columbus. He just doesn't understand what is going on with the chill scene in the city. He said that he went to UA Cafe and things have changed since he met his little tickle there about 4 years ago. He was wondering what happened to that good clean crowd that played that Nelly and just drank their Miller lites and chilled. I tried to tell him that things have changed in the CO. What happened to the clubs that used to give a little extra. I mean when you went to Liberty's you used to get brother man out back selling Fried chicken (Delon got himself a huge plate that one time), and what about the Edge where you could go down in that grimy basement....looked like a scene from the warehouse in the movie No Hold's Barred with Hulk Hogan. You could be down there getting your shimmy on and look to your left and get that free cup of iced water from that big orange cooler. We need to get back to those places that give a little back. The only one I can think of right now is Coaches because you can get some popcorn! LOL

Workout partner - I always had this issue when you workout with somebody they always try to make you do too much. Like it's their job to mentor you since you haven't been in there in a while and they have been there the past 2 months. So instead of trying to just get you loose and get you used to it, they want to put you thru some Apollo Creed workout. That is what happened to me when I went and lifted with Blade. He tried to have me do all this extra stuff that I wasn't ready for. Then he wanted to get mad at me and saying I was cheating my body. Hell the only thing I was cheating my body out of was pain because there is no reason to do too much and be sore for 2 weeks. I should have known I was in trouble because I was even listening to him. In case some of you haven't seen him in a while here is Apollo Creed...

Strangers - I don't know about some of you but that trailer to that movie Strangers is no joke. You know a movie is going to get me when I can't handle the trailer. There is no way I would lean my face next to the door and hear somebody say "We're going to kill you". The first time I saw it I thought it was the KKK. I said to myself what is this updated Klan movie and why they killing the white people? Then I saw those masks and I didn't know what was going on. My next comment would be come thru and lets see. By that time I already got 911 on the cell phone dialed, Brutus is barking up a storm and I am already grabbing the couch and moving it by the door. All these movies like this never seem to involve "real people". You couldn't pull this at my place because I got weapons like: basketball, chairs, golf clubs, pictures. I know some of you are like what is that going to do..all I need to be able to do is throw it at you and get you off balanced and then I am gone. That is what you get anyways for trying to go to some cabin in the woods. I"m a city guy..I need to be able to yell and scream so that nosy neighbor next door comes out in her nightgown looking all crazy. I know some of you will see this and be like this is weak, but not me. I don't mess with that crap at all! And why are they always based on some true story? That is going to mess me up anymore because somebody actually went thru this crap. I'm about to film a movie with my man Lil Scrappy called Cosey hears a noise. It's going to be about 5 mins long because I would hear something, look out and see somebody standing. I will then grab my nikes and take off...the end! I won't be a victim!

Mother's Day style

I just want to start off by saying that this weekend was solid when you can watch all the Indiana Jones on TNT. Sometimes that is just what the doctor ordered! I can't wait for part 4 to come out because Indiana is on his last leg! lol Well lets get to it!

You know there isn't much positive things I talk about regarding the Bush family. However, I would like to extended my congratulations to Jenna Bush getting married this past weekend. I am always happy to see others happy. I want to repeat that..I am always happy to see others happy and that is the key. Anytime you see happy couples you got to give it up to them..and in this case even the Bush's. One a side note...look at the picture...I told Heather that I bet there was no black person at this wedding. I said there would be more diversity in an Abercrombie and Fitch magazine then this wedding. I was wrong because the pastor was black so ole W must have a little soul in him...

I know some of you are wondering why is this a stock up. Yeah this really wasn't a good movie..it was ok not great. It is definately one of those you can watch on HBO on demand and not be too disappointed. Hell the only reason I give this a thumbs up is for her...

Why is this such a big deal? Well he is the first white Valedictorian in school history. It is good to see my man doing big things in a different environment. Ok these are two of the refs that called the Lakers/Jazz game 4. I want to start off by saying that refs don't win games...BUT they definitely can make sure teams lose the game. I understand they under lots of pressure making tough calls in Utah. I never knew Utah was such a hostile venue. You kick out my man Roni Taurif just because some hostile Mormon is yelling at you from row 3. You two BROTHERS need to get a backbone and start calling the game fair. I knew we weren't going to get a fair shake in that zoo but c'mon. They should run an investigation to see if you in kahoots because that was bad. I am not bitter at all because the Lakers will win the series in 6 games but that game was very Tim Doughnay like..aka..FIXED.

Myanmar

I just want to say that the cyclone that hit that country and the result was terrible. What was worse is the government didn't want any help cleaning it up. Does the world hate us that much that they wouldn't ask for any help for their own people? I still don't understand how these places that are near water never know how to take care of these disasters. I guess I should put off going to Miami.........nah!

USPS Worker

Some young punks in Columbus beat up a post officer because he didn't have a cigarette they could have. If that doesn't tell you how bad the economy is that kids are beating up people for a nicotine hit. Tat is a serious fix addiction. I am going to make sure I don't drive down Livingston ave because these fools might get me for my Snapple.

Age and growing old

I am going to leave on this note..getting old is painful. I have had this lower back injury for two weeks. I thought by putting my Shaq icyhot on I would be healed. I then went and played some basketball and still felt the pain. I finally came to realize that I am about to turn 30 in a few months. Now some people are already there and I am not trying to hate, but good lord...30! I need to drink from the holy grail in the last crusade and get back my youth. I think that is something I would recommend..if you are not out of shape..don't get out of shape. It takes a long time to get healthy and what I am going to do if they need me for the gus macker all century team?

Whasup! It has been a while since I have dropped some hot fire like Dylan in making the band 2. Lots of things have been going on that have hindered my weekly review. I tried to tell you all but you didn't want to hear. Earlier in the year I told you who the best player was..I kept hearing these name..Kevin Garnett, LBJ and Chris Paul. Yes those three are real real tough players. I would even say that LBJ is the MVP of the JV Eastern conference, but the voters, fans, common sense has spoken. #24 is the man..and frankly its about time. I know Kobe is like Hiliary Clinton..yeah hear the name and you automatically love him or hate him. Problem is those haters are fools and you know who you are! Look it's my time to gloat and those who know how I feel about my Lakers knew this is coming. Big ups to Bill Beaston holding it down in NW Ohio..you knew about Kobe, shout out to McQuone who knows the deal and also IBK Show for saying that Kobe could very well end up better then Jordan. I look forward to the Lakeshow marching onto the NBA Finals and hopefully end up playing the Cavs.



Kane's Wedding -

I wanted to give a special hello to the new Mr. and Mrs. Kane family. I had a great time at their wedding along with the many others who were able to attend. I was honored to be a part of your day and hope that you had a great time in Puerto Rico. Everything was great and I hope you enjoyed the wedding CD that I made...however I do question a graduate from Northwestern putting the CD in the DVD player, but we will chalk that up to the excitement of the moment. I hope things continue to do well for you two!

$600 bucks - I know this for a lot of you guys is a big moment..getting that $600 stiffen check. Yes it is supposed to help with the economy but c'mon who are we kidding. Shoot most of you are going to go buy that Xbox or take care some of them dollas to those late night venues. Honestly I would probably be like one of you guys but man this year W got me and said I owed and this $600 bucks I am giving him right back so really I don't see the help! What he needs to do is give me that BP gas card for about a month and we can call it even!

Papa Johns - Thanks for the 23 cent pizzas..I wish you would had did it on the weekend so I could get in line and grabbed me one but I couldn't do it. That is what you get for callin Lebron a crybaby...you make the state of Ohio happy and get cheap pizza!

Tolls - I never realized how expensive it was to really drive around America. When I was heading to the wedding in Chicago I swear we were hit by about 8 tolls. Some of these tolls made no sense to me. We would get a ticket and 2 miles later they wanted us to pay for that strip. I was about a buck for 2 miles. I think it cost us 10 bucks just to get to the southside of Chicago. No wonder people can't afford to live there, it cost too much to get into the city. All I kept thinking about was if I lived there and was running late. I had 4 bucks in my pocket and by the time I got thru the 4th toll I had no money? How am I going to get to work? Enough with the tolls...the only mention on the word toll should be from Little John in the movie Men in tights when he said "a toll is a toll, and a roll is a roll...I made that up"..what a solid movie starring Cary Elwes..if you haven't seen it go get it.

Man he almost had it. The boy from Columbus tried to shock the world and win big brother. What made this run a bit more personal was the fact that I have met him. He was one of the many victims that Delon and I put out playing beer pong. He was probably 22 at the time, all wet behind the years and challeged "Kobe and Shaq" and got beat. He was probably cheap too and made me drink that Natty Light. Well I hope to see him out and about and give him my props b/c 2nd place still got him 150,000 so drinks on him!

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey?



These two really got married? I know I have heard of some strange marriages...Tomkat, Heide Klum and Seal, Pee-Wee Herman and Dottie, but this one takes the cake. I can't even really see these two getting married. One thinks they are a diva and the other sings the song touch my body. I know Mariah must have got a prenup because don't get me wrong...I love my man Nick Cannon (Shout out to All That, Love don't cost a thing, Wild n' Out) but you know you are not bringing that much to the table. Man Mariah really went all out after she got divorced the first time. She all the sudden started showing her body off (love it) and started talking to the rappers. I hope it works out but you know it won't...soon she gonna look at Chris Brown and probably start talking to him...hang on Nick..hang on!
